​STONEWALL ACRES is a private campground located approximately 16 miles north west of Plattsburgh, New York in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Our campground is owned collaboratively by the site-owners and is managed by an executive committee that is elected by the site-owners. Along with the responsibility to facilitate the general operations of the park during their term, the role of the executive committee is to carry out the decisions voted upon by the site-owners at the spring and fall general meetings.

Each site is owned and maintained by the site owner who is required to pay an annual maintenance fee payable to Stonewall Acres Site-Owners' Association that covers the general operating expenses of the campground. Each site owner is also required to pay municipal and school taxes to the Town of Altona annually and is responsible for their individual electricity, gas and personal telephone and internet, etc. for their site.
